Nursery
Our Nursery is lovingly staffed by Miss Tracey, who is fully accredited in childcare. Tracey has been with Good Shepherd Lutheran Church for 20 Years and loves to welcome new families to the Church community. Our nursery provides care to children from birth to age 6 while parents attend worship services, and a Bible lesson is presented to preschool age children during Sunday School.
sunday school
Our Sunday School is staffed by amazing parent volunteers. Classes generally meet on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month during the 9:00 worship time.

3rd-4th Grade Miss Amy and/or Mr. Glen
5th-8th Grade Miss Gretchen
Children should arrive to their classroom just a few minutes before 9:00. They will be released in time to join their families during communion and stay with them in the sanctuary or go to the Nursery for the remaining time.
First Communion and Confirmation
We offer first communion classes in cohorts intermittently, usually for grades 1-3. While first communion class isn’t required for your young ones in order for them to take communion it is a good opportunity to learn about the Sacrament in a Church class with other students their age.
If you are interested, please contact the Church office or talk to the Pastor.
Our Sunday School culminates with Confirmation/Catechism class for our young adults ready to take the next step in their faith. This is usually aimed for grades 7-9 but can be done through High School. If you are interested, please contact the office to learn about our assembling classes.
Vacation Bible School-VBS
We partner with Grace Community Church in the summer to provide a free VBS for our youth and youth from the community. We run it as a morning camp full of interactive activities, crafts, Bible time, games and more. They are run different weeks each summer so please reach out if you are interested in your child participating or volunteering to help!

Mrs Tracey
Nursery
Hi, my name is Tracey Rosenbarker and I’ve had the pleasure of being the Nursery Supervisor here at Good Shepherd Church since 2001. I am from the area graduating from LeMoyne College where I studied both Psychology and Education.
Having spent years babysitting and working as a nanny I was delighted when those connections led me to being offered the opportunity to serve God by caring for the children here at Good Shepherd. I am proud to say I have 20 plus years’ experience working in the education setting, first as a special education teacher at the preschool and elementary grade level and more recently as a mental health case worker. Currently, I work as Direct Support Professional supporting individuals with developmental disabilities at home and in the community. When I am not working, I enjoy reading, spending time in nature with my family and friends, and listening to music.
