  • Pastor Garth Olsen

    Pastor Garth Olsen is a New York native growing up in the Adirondack Park. Graduating from Saranac Lake High School and SUNY Potsdam he felt called to pursue ministry in the ELCA.

    Pastor Garth graduated from United Lutheran Seminary with a Masters of Divinity in Spring of 2021.

    Pastor Garth was ordained in November of 2021 to serve as a Military Chaplain. In June of 2022 he deployed with the 1/69 Infantry Battalion to the Horn of Africa

    Returning in June of 2023 with the rest of his unit, he was called to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in October 2023 where he has been ever since.

  • Carol Follette-Office Manager

    Carol has been our office manager for over 20 years. She knows more about our church than just about everybody except for Jesus. We hope you get to know this wonderful Saint for yourself.

  • Vicar Missy Bedell

    I grew up in Gloversville New York. Most recently served as the Vicar at Grace Lutheran Church in Johnstown NY. I am in my third year at United Lutheran Seminary in Gettysburg PA. In my free time I love to be outdoors swimming and hiking. I have two cats and am currently living in Minoa.

  • Charlotte Santella -Audio Visual

    Charlotte has been a dedicated member of Good Shepherd for 27 years. She raised her three children here, enriching their spiritual growth. As a long-time Sunday School teacher, Charlotte has guided our children in Christ’s teachings. Her work on the church council shows her support for our mission. Additionally, she served as Office Administrator,

    During the Covid-19 pandemic, she managed audio, video, and livestreaming our worship services, helping us stay connected.

    Through her social media efforts, especially on Facebook, she has built community support during challenging times.

    Helping keep everyone connected and active is vital.
